My initial reaction to the slot was very positive. Visually, it’s very appealing, with a lovely color palette, great attention to detail, and interesting graphics pulled straight out of Ancient Greece.
Based on the legend of King Midas, who could turn anything into gold with a mere touch of his hand, the slot immerses itself into this intricate and elegant ancient world.
The soundtrack is beautiful and serene, playing quietly in the background with minimal interruption from other sound effects. Kalamba Games have set the grid within the ornate columns of an ancient temple, flanked by a multiplier podium on the left and a coin collection meter on the right.
The symbols are well crafted, with the exception of the dull looking A, K, Q, J, 10, 9 Royals who somehow look like they don’t belong. The rest of the symbols are lovely-looking oak branches, apples, harps, cups, thrones and coins. There’s a lot to occupy your eyes, and that’s why I was so keen to get started and to figure out how the slot came alive. So what happened when I set about clicking that spin button? Read on to learn how the reels roll and the features get triggered.
