In case you were left baffled by the theme of Raven’s Eye, a druid was considered a top notch member of society beginning in the 13th century and lasting throughout the entire span of Celtic civilization.

Thunderkick’s Druid priestess would have been hounded for advice for anything from medical aid to legal counsel. In this case she seems a little more obscure, partnering up with an all knowing raven, and hopefully showing us the path to great riches.

Raven’s Eye brings a very peaceful aura along with it, largely helped by the trickling serenity of the soundtrack and the glowing pastel color palette of the design. The graphics are lovely and detail-oriented, remaining interesting to look at even if you’ve been playing a while.

Our main protagonists are a raven (who acts as a scatter), and of course, the Druid Priestess (who is the highest paying symbol). Middle of the road are the symbols for earth, fire, air and water, and a glowing ‘W’ representing a wild which can substitute for all except the scatter.

The rest of the symbols across the reels are the low paying (and nicely designed up) interpretations of A, K, Q, J, and 10.

When slots come with very few features I’m usually a little dubious and fairly certain that I’m in for a bit of snooze. Raven’s Eye isn’t exactly littered with fantastical special features but what it does provide have been so creatively made that the excitement level remains high. The RTP of 96.1% indicates that in terms of payout frequency we’re not quite as high as we’d like, so this puts a slight downer on things overall.
