I consider myself a highly tolerant person, but the theme music on this slot nearly pushed me over the edge. The gently tinkling music was bad enough, but its determinedly unvaried tune really took the biscuit.

In deference to the canine theme, kennels, collars, treats and four different goofy looking dogs (a Dachshund, a Pug, a Shih Tzu and a Rottweiler) litter the reels. The symbols are completed by generic A,K, Q, J, 10 which was somewhat disappointing. Surely they could come up with a few more dog-themed graphics?

Wins are compounded by increased tempo on the harp-like music and some very excitable yapping and barking. At this point you need to decide if this is brilliant slash adorable, or completely and utterly unbearable. Nobody’s judging, I’m just here to tell it like it is.

The grid is built within a wooden outhouse (presumably this is the dog house), backed by a white picket fence that lines the perfect suburban street. Be warned — it’s all tryingly picture-perfect and pleasant.

The Dog House doesn’t incorporate a huge selection of special features, in fact you might be a little disappointed by how limited this aspect of the slot is. Particularly when you find that the bonus symbols all intertwine and culminate in a similar result. Here’s what you can expect.
